Book Details + Condition: Psychic Press Limited (London). Very scarce First Edition, 1947. Hardcover. 193 pages. Volume by British suffragette and humanitarian worker Mabel St. Clair Stobart, on Spiritualism and Christian mysticism. Chapter titles include "The Either-Or of Spiritualism," "Humanity at the Crossroads," "Miracle of Psychic Science?," "The Druids," "Ezra (and his Rewriting Books of the Old Testament)," "The Witch of Endor," "Pentecost," "The Healing Power," and more. Stobart was an aid worker during the Balkan Wars and World War I, and became an avid proponent of Spiritualism later in life after the loss of several family members. Blue cloth covers with black text to spine. A sound and clean copy of a very scarce work, with firm binding; rubbed corners and edges; light wear to boards, with an inked mark to the front; interior is clean and free of markings.
