Also includes a separate (added) sheet, for use of the New Historical Society (please see picture). By American historical writer and librarian, and authority on New England's witch trials, George Henry Moore (1823-1892). In the brief volume, he traces the witchcraft trials in Massachusetts during the 17th century. This particular study focuses on the debate between Moore and another authority, Abner C. Goodell, as to whether or not an Act that is said to have been passed in 1711 - which would have reversed the attainders of several of those condemned for witchcraft in 1692 - actually became a law.
Original paper publication has firm binding; chipping to edges, with the bottom corner removed / cut (and text remains unaltered); interior is clean and free of markings.
