A beautiful first edition, first printing of "Princess Badoura: A Tale from the Arabian Nights," retold by Laurence Housman, from 1913. Illustrated by Edmund Dulac. Ten tipped-in color plates. The boards and binding are solid and tight. Slight staining to the back board, with very light foxing on the front. The pages are crisp and clean save for some very light foxing on the first two blank pages with spot or two of very light foxing on the borders of a only a few pages. Previous owner's inscription on the third blank page. The tipped-in illustrations are crisp, colorful and clean, and each retains its original corresponding tissue guard / explanatory prefacing plate.
