William of Tyre (1130 - 1186) wrote "Historia Rerum Partibus Trans-Marinis Gestarum" (A History of Deeds Done Beyond the Sea) to record the history of the Crusades and the Kingdom of Jerusalem until 1184. Babcock and Krey's translation are considered some of the most important and accurate of the 20th century. Very scarce first edition set of this highly noted translation regarding the history of the Crusades.
